Marcel THOMAS (1909–2000) & Marc WAYMEL (1949–2024). Various portraits, including French and foreign political figures such as Mikhail Gorbachev. A collection of about fifteen prints, mostly silver gelatin. Marc Waymel’s signature appears on two of the front sides. Marc Waymel’s stamp appears on four of the back sides. On four of the back sides, there is a stamp reading: “Photographie Marcel Thomas – Photograph taken by Marcel Thomas – authenticated by Gérard Gagnepain, legal expert for the artist’s estate.” Full sizes range from approximately 15 x 12 cm to 35.5 x 25.5 cm. Signs of handling and warping. Provenance: Estate of Marc WAYMEL.
