Marcel THOMAS (1909–2000). Georges Brassens, Jean Gabin, Bourvil, and André Verchuren, Paris. Circa 1967. Set of six silver gelatin prints, contact prints. On the back of two prints, a stamp reading “Photographie Marcel Thomas—Photograph taken by Marcel Thomas—authenticated by Gérard Gagnepain, legal expert for the artist’s estate.” On the reverse of four prints, handwritten annotations in pencil: “Photo Marcel Thomas.” Full medium formats with margins ranging from approximately 30 x 22 cm to 30.5 x 24 cm. Signs of handling and warping. Provenance: Estate of Marc WAYMEL.
