Pierre-Louis MANUEL (1751–1793), publicist, Prosecutor of the Paris Commune, member of the National Convention (Paris); he was guillotined. P.A.S., City Hall, June 12, 1790; 1 page, quarto size, with the letterhead “Municipality of Paris. Department of Police,” and a small vignette.
The administrators authorize the citizens of Popincourt “to send one of their commissioners, accompanied by two riflemen, to Mr. Colin’s residence, […] to invite him and, in the event of a third refusal, to compel him to come before the committee to account for his conduct.” Duport-Dutertre and Thorillon also signed.
