In-18, contemporary red morocco, spine decorated, gilt lace and fillets framing the covers, gilt roulette on the edges, gilt inner lace, blue silk lining and endpapers, gilt edges (Bozerian jeune). First separate edition of the author's masterpiece, decorated with three out-of-text figures by Moreau le jeune and a fourth by Joseph Vernet. Partially split spine, worn head cover and minor defects. DELILLE Œuvres.
