BOILLY Louis-Léopold. La Bassée 1761 - Paris 1845. Woman with muff. Black stone, shading and white highlights (unstained). On the reverse, two studies of dogs in black stone and white highlights on bluish paper (freckles). H. 36.5 - L. 26 cm. Study related to the painting La Femme au manchon in the former Henri de Rothschild collection. According to the authors of the catalog raisonné, the model could be Adélaïde Leduc, the artist's second wife.
