Round box in green varnish mounted in yellow gold, Master goldsmith: Antoine Devaux, Paris, 1770-1771. Applied with plain and chased bands, inside tortoise shell (Cheloniidae spp*), (accidents, missing parts, in need of restoration, detached hoops). Diameter: 61 mm. Gross weight: 64.4 g. *Specimen classified in Appendix I, Appendix A of the Washington Convention, pre-convention. Specimen predates June 1, 1947 and complies with European Community Regulation 338/97 of 09/12/1996 art 2 W SCE and SPMC, as well as the French Environment Code. If leaving the EU, a CITES re-export permit is required.
