A white marble HANGER with a sleeping Love and his bow, after Giuseppe Maria MAZZA (1653-1741). Mahogany veneered base surrounded by a large frieze of gilt bronze water leaves. Enamel dial by THOMIRE & Cie, MOINET aîné h[orloge]r, framed with palmettes. Movement with anchor escapement and wire suspension. Second quarter of the 19th century. H. 52 cm - W. 56 cm - D. 38 cm. Restored marble, small accidents to the dial, fixing of the bezel to be revised, chips to the veneer. Movement recently restored.
