Marcel THOMAS (1909–2000). Three identical portraits of the singer Billie Holiday (Eleanora FAGAN, as she was known). Two No. 5/14 and one No. 7/14. Circa 1950s. Set of three rear-printed photographic prints, mounted on mat board and framed. Handwritten annotations in pencil on the front of the mounts. On the backs of the prints, a stamp and handwritten annotations in graphite. Image sizes range from approximately 23 x 17.5 cm to 28.5 x 23 cm. Frame sizes range from approximately 33 x 27 cm to 43 x 33 cm.
