Mazarin desk in red tortoiseshell and engraved brass marquetry opening to six drawers with convex fronts and a central drawer with concave front surmounting a window, the top, front and sides decorated with the abduction of Persephone surmounted by a canopy with mascaron and scrolls and resting on lambrequins, in an entourage of animals, birds and musicians (including a donkey and a monkey), resting on sheathed legs joined four by four by braces and finished with gilt bronze feet; (accidents and restorations).
