A certificate from Paule Cailac dated October 16, 1969 will be given to the purchaser. The same vase, with a bouquet of white peonies, can be found in the painting Marthe aux pivoines blanches (107 x 90 cm, Ronald Feltkamp N°1914-007), depicting the niece of Belgian symbolist poet Émile Verhaeren.
