Metal-plated oval soup tureen on pedestal underlined by water-leaf moldings, fleuron motifs and applied shells. Handles with foliate scrolls, acorn-shaped grip. 19th century. Goldsmith : François LEVRAT plaqueur (insculpation 1811-1812). Height: 30 cm. Length: 41 cm. (Wear). François LEVRAT, goldsmith and plater in Paris, established at 66 rue Popincourt. He received awards at the Expositions des Produits de l'Industrie in 1819 and 1823 for silver-plated goldsmithing.
