CARTIER. Circa 1930 Ladies' wristwatch in platinum (950 thousandths) and diamonds, Art Deco period, French work. CASE: rectangular with rounded corners, bezel set with round and baguette quarter diamonds, lugs each set with four calibrated diamonds. Engraved back: E.G.G., dated 21.11.30, inscribed serial numbers and engraved stock numbers. Numbered inside bezel and case back. Crown adorned with a diamond. DIAL: silvered (repainted), painted Roman numeral hour markers, blued steel hands, signed Cartier France. MOVEMENT: mechanical, bimetallic balance, 19 jewels, signed European Watch and Clock Co Inc. BRACELET: openworked articulated links, smooth on the sides, enhanced with round and baguette diamonds, set in platinum (950 thousandths). Numbered 21833, 29520, 04861 (stock number).
