ECOLE FRANCAISE Première moitié du XIXe siècle Presumed portrait of the Countess of Bellegarde, née von Berlichingen. She is represented in bust, a headband in her brown hair, a blue stole across her white dress. Miniature of round form. Chased and gilded metal border. On the back a handwritten label indicates the identity of the model, accompanied by the mention B.M. de Rosnay de Vincent. Diameter : 8,5 cm. Natural wood frame of round shape. Countess de Bellegarde, born Auguste von Berlichingen (1765 - 1831), wife of Friedrich, Joseph Johann Franz de Bellegarde (Cf. British museum.org/collection/term/BIOG258063).
