Gilded wood armchair. Wrapped backrest with pearl frieze Armrests supports in fluted column, in line with the tapered and fluted front legs, resting on balls. Belt with a frieze of rais de cOeur. Rear feet sabre. Upholstered with an Aubusson tapestry decorated with a dog on the seat, a small character and rabbits on the back (probably an illustration of the fable of Lapins, by Jean de La Fontaine). Directoire period. H. 85 cm - W. 57 cm. Formerly gilded, chips. Restorations, wear and small acci_x0002_dents to the tapestry.
