Ewer with its basin and gilded copper soap dish (tombak). The ewer has a truncated conical body and a gadrooned base, the neck is ringed and the lid is topped by a pine cone grip. The openwork grid is decorated with lo_x0002_tus button motifs. The basin is chased with a frieze of floral stems. (Worn gilding, broken lid hinge). Ottoman Turkey, late 18th early 19th century. Height of the ewer : 34 cm ; Diameter of the basin : 36,5 cm. Provenance: Algiers first half of the 20th century, then France from 1962.
