Ewer and its gilded copper basin (tombak). The ewer with a pear-shaped body topped by a lid with a button grip, with a serpentine handle and spout, the bulbous basin ending in a wide flared corolla rim. (Consolidation weld under the base, lid hinge damaged). Ottoman Turkey, 18th - 19th century. Height. ewer : 37 cm ; Diam. basin : 30,5 cm. Provenance : Algiers first half of the 20th century, then France from 1962.
