Straight-necked baluster-covered vase in polychrome enamelled porcelain with polylobed panels and medallions decorated with scenes of palaces, birds and flower bouquets, all on a background of lotus flowers. Quadripod base in bronze with a brown patina and decorated with archaic motifs. Two handles extend along the sides of the vase forming two movable handles and two dragon heads, flanked on each side. The vase rests on a carved wooden base resting on three baluster feet decorated with dragon heads in the upper part and Greek friezes, all resting on claw feet. (Lid restoration and small lacks, small repaints on cooking bubbles on the belly, pierced bottom). H. At sight 66.5 cm - Total H with base 80 cm. Stand H. 74 cm - Diam. 47 cm. CHINA, Canton ware - 19th Century A polychrome-enameled lidded baluster jar adorned with panels and lobed medallions of palace scenes, birds, bunch of flowers on a lotus ground. On a bronze and black patina stand with four feet adorned with archaic patterns, the two handles forming two dragon heads.
