The neck is decorated with three friezes of spirals, foliage and greek. The two handles decorated with peonies. H. 33,4 cm. CHINA - QIANLONG Period (1736 - 1795) Bianhu blue and white porcelain gourd, in the center a medallion holding a lotus flower, surrounded by a scroll of peonies and lotus among their foliage. The neck adorned with three scrolls of spirals, leaves and greek, both handles adorned with peonies. 清乾隆 青花纏枝蓮紋綬帶耳葫蘆扁壺 This type of piriform model of wine pourer, known as a "ewer", in blue-white porcelain, the spout connected to the neck by a polylobate bridge, with an ear-shaped handle on the opposite side, appears in the period Yongle (1403-1425). The piriform blue-white porcelain ewers, inspired by ancient Ming forms as well as traditional ancient Ming motifs, belong to the classical repertoire of the imperial kilns of Jingdezhen during the reigns of Emperor Yongzheng and Emperor Qianlong.
