CHINE - EPOQUE KANGXI (1662 - 1722)
Low-bellied vase with narrow, slightly flared neck in porcelain decorated in blue underglaze with four poly-lobed medallions on the belly decorated with a frontal dragon chasing the sacred pearl among the clouds, the foot decorated with a frieze of foaming waves topped with a frieze of spirals. The neck is decorated with a frieze of lingzhi and swastika surmounted by three phoenixes in flight forming a round medallion. The upper edge is decorated with a frieze of lingzhi. (Cracks in the bottom). H. 47,3 cm. CHINA - KANGXI Period (1662 - 1722) Baluster blue and white vase with a thin neck, adorned with four poly-lobed medallions retaining a dragon chasing the sacred pearl among the clouds.
