Porcelain pourer on a blue decorated porcelain pedestal under the cover of a fountain resting on the back of a qilin on each side, water spurts from the mouths of two stylized creatures topped by two stylized phoenix heads that also spit water. The foot is decorated with foaming waves and clouds. The handle is decorated with stylized flowers. On the back of the base, the trigram mark. (Cracks and restorations, missing). H. 31 cm. Reference: a similar pot kept at the National Museum of Asian Arts - Guimet, n°MG7008. CHINA - JIAJING Period (1522 - 1566) Blue and white porcelain ewer, adorned with a fountain resting on the back of qilin, the water flowing from the mouths of two creatures and two phoenix heads above them. The foot adorned with aves and clouds, the handle adorned with stylized flowers. On the reverse, the trigram mark. 明嘉靖 青花法器圖執壺 (殘損、修復)
