Chalice in silver 950 thousandths, the pedestal, the baluster shaft and the double cup decorated in repoussé with holy figures, angels, cartouches, vine branches and reeds in reserves, on an amati background. The plain vermeil tulip. Minerva, 19th century. Goldsmith: MARTIN & DEJEAN, stamped in 1837 and struck out in 1846. Height: 31 cm - Weight: 548 g. A paten in plain vermeil 950 thousandths engraved with the Christic monogram, surmounted by a cross and the Sacred Heart of Jesus is attached. PARIS 1819-1838. Weight: 104 g. (Slight denting and tearing on the base of the calyx, slight shocks on the edge of the paten). In a shaped case (wear and tear, accident at the lid hinge). Contains a document from the Archbishopric of PARIS attesting that this chalice was consecrated by the Archbishop of Paris on April 9, 1897.
