Thomas Mahy, marquis de FAVRAS (1744-1790) agent of the count of Provence (the future Louis XVIII), he was involved in a conspiracy in 1790 and died without giving the name of his leader. L.A.S., Calais February 15, 1764, to M. Cavillier, merchant in Paris; 1 page in-4, address with red wax seal of arms. He asks him for "fine white gray cloth from which to make me a uniform frock coat" and "from which to make a pair of blue panne velvet breeches for a servant," and indicates that he should send it to him by the Calais carriages whose address he gives. He signs: "Mahy de Favras, Capitaine ayde major au Regiment des Dragons de Belsunce en garnison à Calais". Rare.
