P.S., co-signed by Jean-Marie-Claude-Alexandre GOUJON (1766-1795, Seine-et-Oise); 2 1/2 pages in-fol. Certified copy of a letter from Boetey, removable commander of the Rhine line, Rhinau 23 thermidor II (August 10, 1794), to Hentz, Representative of the people near the armies of the Rhine and the Moselle. Interesting letter on the manpower of the region. Boetey complains about the weakness of his battalions, decimated by disease, and worries about the "great fermentation [...] among the inhabitants of the country.
