Flat-backed beech chair with simple moulding, supported by four curved and rolled legs. Stamped N.Q.FOLIOT. Louis XV period. Fire mark of the Palais des Tuileries "TH". Fire mark of the Palais des Tuileries under the Restoration (3 fleur-de-lys under a royal crown, in an oval) H. 91 cm - W. 62 cm. Two legs, some restorations, the rebate of the belt redone. Nicolas Quinibert Foliot (1706-1776), received Master carpenter in 1729; at his death, his widow took over the workshop.
